Wow Donna! You said I would be pleased with Sandra and you were right! She stepped in on a moments notice to bathe, dress, feed and change linens for my 90 year old mother-in-law with dementia. After meeting her, I had no reservations about leaving town and trusting her to follow our instructions. My grown children met her and said she was "wonderful, sweet, very caring". But the best compliment came from my 8 year old grandson who said "that nanny was an angel from heaven!". Thank you so much! We will definitely be using your services again.

Our twin girls (now 11 weeks old) were in great hands with Sandy and she really helped us through a tough transition time during the evenings. "We've used Rent-A-Nanny over 7 years with very good success. I can always count on Penny to provide us with a mature adult who has a clean record (Penny does Criminal & driving background checks). In fact, I've contacted her service many times at the last minute and Penny has almost always come through with a terrific sitter who my child really enjoys. We currently trust one of Penny's babysitters so much, she looks after our child when we're out of town. Also, I've always found Penny to be completely open to feedback, whether it is positive or negative. Before we found Rent-A-Nanny we tried locating babysitters through local colleges and churches and by word of mouth. None of them were as consistently reliable as Penny's service plus we didn't have the comfort of knowing that a background check has been done. An important lesson we've learned over the years is that all babysitters respond best to a specific schedule and a clear set of instructions. I'm amazed that Penny's babysitters only charge $12 an hour (1 child). I challenge anyone to find a better, more reasonably priced and more responsive babysitting service in the Jacksonville area than Rent-A-Nanny."

I heard of Penny's Rent-A-Nanny service through a friend and researched her service. Upon contacting Penny, she was more than accommodating and had the perfect nanny for us with very short notice. Penny has been kind, reassuring and professional in every aspect. Her nanny has been with us for over a month and we are pleased knowing our baby is safe and well cared for when my husband and I are working. We were hesitant at first about having someone in our home with our baby and now we wouldn't have it any other way. I know he is safe, being cared for and loved when we can't be with him.

We have three young children. We hold full time jobs as physicians. We take night call. I don't know how my wife could have finished her residency without the help of Rent-A-Nanny. For three years they have been reliable without fault. They are available for emergencies, and will furnish nannies until you find the one who is right for you. I have worked with Penny Meeks, owner of Rent-A-Nanny for almost nine years. Penny started babysitting my oldest daughter, Alexandra, when she was about nine months old. We had no family in town, and all my friends were from my former office. I was a stay-at-home mom in desperate need of a break once a week. A person at church had recommended Penny, and she was just what I needed!
Penny was warm, loving and terrific with my daughter. Alexandra came to view Penny as another grandmother. When we went to the hospital to have Amanda, our second daughter, it was Penny who came to take care of Alexandra until our family could get in town. We felt our children were safe in her care.
As my children have gotten older, I feel lucky to have had Penny in our lives. I have also enjoyed watching her develop and grow her Rent-A-Nanny business. Both of my girls feel close to Penny, and when Penny comes to sit with them, they can hardly contain themselves – this from a 6 year old and a 9 year old.
