We are different because our service is entirely FREE to families looking for a qualified nanny, babysitter or caregiver at reasonable rates. Unlike many other nanny and sitter placement/referral services we have interviewed each nanny and checked all references personally. Rent-A-Nanny has developed a wonderful group of experienced, certified, & screened professional nannies and sitters. Whether it is a full-time nanny or a sitter for a (much needed) night out, let us match you with the extra help that you need! We only recommend experienced Nannies and Babysitters who have passed an extensive personal interview conducted by an owner, which includes checks of personal and business references and a national criminal background check. All nannies are CPR & First Aid Certified.

How Does It Work?

• Nannies, Babysitters & Caregivers are available 24-hours a day - 7 days a week.
• Any time you need help – full-time, part-time, after-school, vacation, night-out, and overnight.
• Hourly rate paid directly to your Nanny/Babysitter, by you at the end of the visit.
• Rates starting at $22 an hour.
• 4 hours minimum payment per visit on the above services. Additional $.65 cents/mile charge for transportation needs, i.e., school activities or sports. 
• Caregiver/companion care, transportation for appointments and shopping – starting at $25 per hour with a 4 hour minimum payment.
• Nanny/babysitting 4-hour minimum charge per visit.
• Mothers Helper Responsibilities: caring for children, diaper changes, washing  and preparing baby bottles, preparing children's meals and clean up, running errands, taking children to appointments or activities such as  sports, dance classes, library, pool or beach, helping with children's  laundry, engaging children in educational and fun activities, Light  housekeeping  (sweeping kitchen floor and damp mop, unload and load  dishwasher), wipe down bathrooms (no heavy cleaning), clean children's  rooms and nursery. 
• Payment is made directly to the nanny.  
• There is a $50 cancellation fee for any services canceled with less than 24 hours' notice.
